Introduction- Kaytlin Roser

Greetings everyone. I am Kaytlin Roser and I am an elementary and special education major. I currently reside in Titusville permantly with my parents who recently moved here over the Summer from Oil City. I love contributing to the community here and I have really enjoyed my student teaching experiences here as well. Second grade at Main Street Elementary was definitely the best experience for me! I loved those kids.

Last Wednesday was my first day in my second placement at Titusville Middle School. It was a crazy day because it was the last day before Easter break and they had all kinds of fun social activities going on school-wide. It was really interesting and I enjoyed being around the students. Although this placement is a huge change from 2nd grade, I think I am going to really like it. I am technically placed in 8th grade learning support, but my co-op is giving me more experiences with other grades by having me push into other classrooms and having the opportunity to teach lessons in them. I will be teaching science, math, and reading for the most part.

In my spare time I really love to just chill out and relax with a great novel or movie. I am really into history and watching documentaries. I am always curious about learning new things and increasing my awareness and knowledge about the world around me. I also love to travel when I can and go on random road trips to interesting sites with my close friends. I also obviously love being around children and being a role model for them. I used to work every Summer at a local daycare in the Venango county area which I really loved, and I got a lot of experience working with children.

When I graduate in May, I plan on getting a substitute teaching job in the Titusville School District and possibly other surrounding districts such as Oil City, Franklin, and Cranberry. I am used to the area I grew up in and would love to be a part of the educating community here. I also would like to pursue a job at a local daycare. Someday I would like to be a second grade teacher or a learning support teacher for any grade.

I hope you all have a wonderful break and holiday!
